From Russia with love? Maybe, but this love is full of lysergic doses of Dub and Glitch from a generous IDM which gives the final touch to this interesting release from Illocanblo, a russian artists living in Saint Petersburg. 7 tunes make their way through this slinky path in a very solid way. The EP starts with “Take”, showing us the true love of this artist for the Dub music and his own way to understand it. A marvel that will be merged along the following four tracks to gradually introduce us in a closer way to IDM. Proof of this are the last two tracks that make up this EP. Glitches and IDM melodies over impossible rhythms. In short, an exemplary exercise of modern electronic music with a personal touch where Illocanblo is showing himself as it is.
